Fire Hydrant Exercising in Your Area

Over the next month, our crews will be working in coordination with the local Fire Department to perform routine fire hydrant exercising throughout our service area. This important maintenance helps ensure that hydrants are operating properly and are ready for use in case of an emergency.

During this time, you may see our personnel and fire department staff operating hydrants in your neighborhood. In some cases, residents may briefly notice temporary water discoloration or minor pressure fluctuations. If discoloration occurs, it is typically temporary and can usually be cleared by running cold water for a few minutes.
